The Guildmaster Award is a prestigious honor, given to only a select group of home builders. In 2025, just around 150 builders earned this recognition.

Hundreds of companies are competing across the U.S. to build homes that meet customer expectations, driving up standards in the luxury and premium sector. However, finding quality, long-lasting homes is still challenging, even with so much choice. New construction can look good on the outside, but may not have the longevity that many buyers demand, leading to higher maintenance, servicing costs and disappointment long-term.

The GuildQuality Guildmaster Award is competitive because construction firms must demonstrate high-quality outcomes across multiple domains. Businesses like GreenTech Homes that achieve this accolade must prove high recommendation and survey response rates alongside customer satisfaction and sufficient scale.

The Guildmaster Award asks for a recommendation rate of 90% or more on its recommendation score. Customers must be willing to recommend a qualifying business to their peers, and indication of a high satisfaction level.

Qualifying firms must also achieve a high survey response rate, meaning that people tell GuildQuality about their experience. GuildQuality manually verifies qualifying companies are actively seeking feedback from customers and methods to maintain their high service standards. Contractors must ensure a minimum number of qualifying responses per survey year to be entered for the annual awards.
